Windows 8 Can Use Photos as Password

Microsoft offers new and unique way to log into the Windows operating system 8. With a Picture Password feature, you can go into the operating system by using a photograph as a password.

Microsoft's program manager for the team's You Centered Experience, Zach Pace, explains how to use images as a password. There are two stages that must be done to make the picture that password.


First, attach one of your pictures a different or has unique characteristics make it more secure and easier to remember. Photos will appear on the screen when locked or unlocked position when you want to activate the device.

Second, the real security of these passwords picture comes from the way you touch your finger or draw certain parts of the photo. These systems record the movements on the touch screen combination, namely the location of the movement, the direction of movement, and finger movements.

For finger movements can be a point, line, or circle. These movements will be accepted as a valid access to Windows 8 interpreted the movement as a password.

"When you draw a circle or a line on the location of the selected image, the Windows recording how you draw," said Pace.
